At the forefront in Europe: SIMWERT ranked 288 on FT 1000 – Financial Times ranking of the fastest-growing companies in 2020

The Berlin-based company SIMWERT can be satisfied with its ranking of 288 on the annual FT 1000 list, a prestigious ranking of the Financial Times.

SIMWERT on FT 1000 list

For the first time, the Berlin-based company SIMWERT has been listed in the Financial Times FT 1000 ranking of the fastest growing European companies in 2020. SIMWERT ranked at 288 in the FT 1000 list, coming in second in the telecommunications sector in Germany. With a growth rate of 579.5% (annual growth rate of 89.4%), the Berlin-based company also impressively demonstrated the potential of ethnomarketing in Germany.

For the managing partners Türker Yagmur and Muhammed Ali Aktas, this recognition is synonymous with the acknowledgement of the company’s vision: "This is the reward for our entire sales structure with all our SIMWERT distribution partners, which acknowledges the joint performance and demonstrates that something exceptional has been created".

With its ITC distribution, which targets the needs and characteristics of specific ethnic groups in Germany, SIMWERT enables industrial and commercial enterprises to address end customers with a migration background in an efficient, modern, and authentic way. Thanks to its distribution network of over 400 trading partners throughout Germany, approximately 25,000 new customers and interested parties have been reached per month for several years. SIMWERT’s success story began in 2011 with the sale of SIM cards as well as the marketing of contracts of German network providers in selected mobile phone shops and via a steadily growing network of trading partners. Today, e-commerce solutions and vendor marketing services have been added to this ethnic distribution. With the FT 1000 recognition from the Financial Times and after being named Focus Growth Champion 2020, SIMWERT has been honoured for the second time by a leading business medium for its contribution as an economic driving force in Germany and Europe.

RANKING

For the fourth time, the Financial Times, in collaboration with the market research firm Statista, presented an annual list of the fastest growing companies in 31 European countries. In addition to a certain minimum sales and various other parameters, the selection criteria are an organic rise in revenue and company headquarters in one of the listed European countries. Analysis is performed independent of journalists.
